A message from the owner....
Hi, I'm Laura! I'm one of the hair stylists in the Salon, educator at The Academy and I'm also the very proud owner of both!
I just wanted to leave a wee message firstly to thank you for visiting the website and for your interest in our services! It really means the world to small businesses like mine. I also wanted to tell you a little about the background of the salon and why it such a special wee place! As a busy mum and business owner, I know only too well how precious that "me time" can be so I created Elysian with the aim of providing my guests with a relaxing experience, and a space to unwind from every day life allowing you to really make the most of that well deserved me-time. I understand visiting a salon can sometimes feel a bit daunting and overwhelming so I put a huge focus on ensuring the salon is a welcoming environment with a stress free, calming atmosphere. We want you to feel at home! So please sit back and relax, and enjoy a (rare!) HOT cuppa whilst we work our magic.Â
Recently, the salon has also become home to our training Academy! Educating has become an element of my career I'm extremely passionate about, helping others to thrive and build their own careers in our incredible industry. Becoming self‑employed let me build a career that fits family life so I could be there for the big days, the everydays and the moments that matter and it brings me so much joy to help others do the same.  I’ve learned what works in this industry, and I turn that into clear, supportive learning for my students. My commitment continues after class, with ongoing mentoring to guide your next steps with practical support and simple strategies. I can’t wait to cheer you on and celebrate your success!
